A poem for Rosemary, July 2020
It rained yesterday – making puddles – the sort
that made you look intensely –
at images unwinding.
Today a rainbow arcs from a roof –
high into the unknown –
taking nothing with it but colour –
stretching up – to unite in the white
of resting in peace.
